Koa Academy is registered with the Independent Examinations Board (IEB), an assessment body known for its rigorous academic standards and strong focus on critical thinking. Together with personalised teacher support, this creates a learning environment where students are both challenged and supported to achieve their best.
Real-World Learning
At Koa, students regularly apply their learning through project-based experiences that require them to think critically, solve problems, collaborate with others, and communicate their ideas.

Students learn through purposefully designed online coursework that can be worked through independently, alongside regular live lessons with dedicated teacher support. Stay Connected to Your Child's Learning
Every Koa student has their own Dashboard, visible to them, their teachers, and their parents. Dashboards provide a daily snapshot of progress, attendance, goals, subject marks, and more, making learning transparent and helping students stay on track.
Teachers monitor them every day, and we encourage parents and students to do the same. It’s a simple way to ensure support, accountability, and age-appropriate independence.
Parents also have direct access to their child’s teachers, ensuring questions can be addressed quickly and learning remains a collaborative effort.
Free Online Entrepreneurship Challenge for Students 9 to 16
Hosted by Koa Academy, this 5 week programme is open to anyone and guides young people through building and pitching their own business ideas.
